Question by sandhillceltic · Jun 03, 2013 at 04:20 AM · guitimer

how do I change a gui texture at certain intervals?

I need a loading screen for my game, as the level loads. The idea is that I have a scene that opens (a loading scene, you could call it), and that that scene plays a slideshow as the level loads. I wrote a script that loads the main scene in the background, as the current scene (the loading scene) plays the slideshow. I am having trouble with a script that will change the image of a gui texture every X seconds. I have about 10 pictures I want to rotate through, on a loop, with about half a second in between each picture. I tried setting each picture as a var, but that did not work. Can anyone help?

Can you actually post the script and the errors you get?
It's quite useful when you want help from people to do your best to supply them with all the information they need.

I second @Benproductions1. Please post your code.

I am away from home at the moment, but I will see if I can recreate the code. Otherwise, I will post it in 3-4 days...

Also, please don't edit my question...it's nothing personal, it just bothers me. If you feel that I have not presented the question well, please rephrase it in a comment..thanks

@sandhillceltic
I feel kind of offended that you responded like that to someone who is trying to help you... for free
