Can Unity open .3ws file
Hello all, Recently I came across a beautiful 3D model. I want to buy it and use it in my game. The problem is that it is in .3ws ( City Engine Web scene) format. Can Unity open that or will I have to install another software?
No, unfortunately, you would have to have City Engine to export it to Unity. (Thank you to @Bunny83 for pointing this out!)

Uhm according to that FAQ you actually need that software (City Engine). So the more correct answer would be: NO, you need City Engine to import it into Unity. Just like Unity can't import maya models without having maya installed.
