3D Text problem
This is such a basic question and yet, I cannot find a simple answer anywhere on the net
I need to get my 3D Text component to actually look 3D but messing with the settings I find that it's just a copy of GUI text, with the same properties.
How can I make it appear 3D?
It's really frustrating since It should be so simple.

I think that if you want a text in 3-Dimension (with depth), you need to create it in another application, like Blender. 3D Text in Unity allows you to write text and place it everywhere in your world. You can turn around it but it'll stay flat.
Hope I'm not mistaken,

you might need a text which is editable at runtime and has to move with you object, you simple make it a child of your object and edit the text via script.
