Importing .OBJs from UDK Breaks UVs
My team and I are working on a project in which we need to export our scene from UDK (we're using the 2013-07 build) and into Unity because we need the scene as an exact replica.
Everything is being exported in the same .OBJ file and all of the models are correct in shape and placement, but for some reason all of the UV coordinates on the assets break and look horrible.
The assets are already unwrapped when they've been imported into UDK, so I don't know if UDK just doesn't export .OBJs that are incompatible with Unity, or if something during the import is breaking.
I saw an earlier thread about this problem and the neither of the solutions worked (setting the texture mode to clamp and swapping UVs on the object).
We're assigning textures to materials, then the materials to the assets in the scene, so we aren't pulling anything out of the ordinary with how the textures are being applied.
Anyone encounter this before or know how to fix this?
