Unity Sphere object not displaying proper color away from camera
The side of the sphere facing the camera gives a dark color as intended but the one away from camera origin gives a very light shade. The camera is orthographic, the background is a solid skybox, The sphere material has a standard rendering mode with opaque rendering mode.I tried changing the camera rendering path to legacy vertex lit and it solved the problem but is there any other solution? I am a beginner in unity.

$$anonymous$$ove around the directional light in your scene and see if it's causing the 'light shade'.
No its not because of the directional light. I disabled the light completely and tried but then the effect is still there albeit a little darker
