Animation Preview
Hi,
I'm having trouble previewing an animated .FBX model when imported into Unity and set as Humanoid, it don't show the model in the preview window and if I drag it into the window it still don't show, it show the Unity model and when I play any of it's animations they don't run, but If I set the rig as generic it show an I can preview the animations, It's rigged with a skeleton.
But if I set it as Humanoid then add a animation controller I can drag and add them to the controller and call them through script and they play fine, just can't see / preview them, It's a pain as I want to set some events.
Any ideas?

I am having the exact same problem please let me know if you figure this out
Select the model to be animated . Set it to type Generic and Copy from avatar .Select the avatar. Now click apply . When done reselect Create From This $$anonymous$$odel and click apply . Now drag the model into the Hierarchy . And when you add the animator it shows the avatar as the model's name . Add the animatorController. It worked for me! 9q
