force rotation on root motion node
hi, I m trying to make my character climb a wall properly but the animation is "shaking" no matter what settings I put in the Animation window. the only way I have to get it right is if I put the root as root motion node in the motion's drop menu, but, when I do that, my character is playing the animation with an offset of -90degres on Rx and Rz (he looks like crawling on his back, on the floor) The 'root' is created by unity (I m using CAT in 3dsmax10 for our project and the root bone from a CAT rig is never animated, it's a big triangle at 0,0,0) and I have no direct control on it.
Is there a way to force a rotation to make the animation goes the right way?
thanks a lot,
Alex
