How difficult to convert single-player game to MMO?
Before people start bashing my question: I'm not new to game-making, I'm not new to Unity, and I have completed games. I'm not setting out to single-handedly create an MMO, I know the difficulty. My question is: I'm working on a single player game that I think would work really well as an MMO down the line once it is completed and I get a team, etc, etc. How difficult would it be to convert a completed single-player game into an MMO later down the road, or would it just be easier to start over from scratch once that milestone gets hit?
i think the answer is you have to re-do, touch, pretty much everything. other than the artwork. and usually that all has to change, too.
