Keeping MonoDevelop from going fullscreen when opening a file

I was wandering if there is a way to keep MonoDevelop from making the application maximize when i open a file, already inside my solution.

It seems any time i click on a file in the Solution window to open it in the editor, while it is already open in a tab, or even if it hasnt been opened yet, it maximizes the application.

I'm trying to keep MonoDevelop on the left side, while i watch a stream on the right, so having it maximize every time i open a file is quite annoying.
