Steering Wheels and Rotating Steering on touch
I am facing some problem in steering car wheels in unity and rotation of steering. I tried different methods to solve this problem but they are not accurate there is some issues in all these methods. if someone know the complete method of doing this, please post it. Its exact example is Bus Parking Game on google play store.
Thanks for posting the code, but I wanted to know how what kind of object the steering wheel is. GUITexture? Draw using GUI.DrawTexture()? A plane in 3D space? Your use of 'gui$$anonymous$$ouse' suggests you are using GUI.DrawTexture().
Oh, and what values are you using ofr rotAngleLimit? Is it greater than 180 degrees?
I'm unclear about what problems you are facing. At first I thought this question was about the steering wheel. The code above does not completely mimic the behavior I saw when I looked at the video of the Bus Parking Game. That is a problem I can help you with if that is one of your issues. Issues with wheel colliders and physically steering the vehicle is a separate technical issue. One I'm not equipped to help you with since I've never written a driving game. If both are issues, then it may be best to separate them into two UA questions.
It may be that you want to bind the rotation of the steering wheel to the rotation of the wheels absolutely rather than relatively.
