Lightmapping Artifacts
Hey Guys,
I've played around with Beast on a rather complex scene, but no matter what, I keep getting strange artifacts throughout the scene.
Pictures of the artifacts and Beast settings.
Would be great if anyone could help!
Greetings, remoteplayfreak
Do you activate generate Lightmap UV in your model importer ? After baking, did you have warning or before or during ?
Try to set texture packing off from lightmaps if you have it on.
Is the unwrapping done automatically by model importer, since it looks like there is pretty bad seams on the model.
Yes, I actually have the FBX importer generate the Lightmapping UV's. Could that be a problem?
I never had a problem with it so I don't think so. Unity don't say you reach the maximum lightmap array size during/After the baking process ?
Can you take a pics of your parameters in the first baking tab ?
And other question, All your baking assets are statics ?
Currently not at home, but I'll be happ to take a picture once I get home. The lightmap array size actually exceeds, but I've seen those artifacts with way less objects, and yes. Everything is static
