Do objects have to be UV mapped?
Quick question here. If I don't require (or want) actual textures on my objects, do they still need to be UV mapped? If I am content with the basic Unity shader for the objects colour, is that enough?
Are there any pro's and cons to not using UV maps?

UV mapping is required to properly match a texture to parts of your model. If all you need is the colour then perfor$$anonymous$$g an Unwrap in your modeller software is not required.
