Rotation conversion from Unity to Maya question
I am taking character data (a json file), that is exported from unity, which has all the rotation values of the characters limbs, and applying them to the same character in maya. However they aren't corresponding correctly.
I am guessing that it is related to a left-handed right-handed axis difference between maya and unity. (the axis is y-up in both, but seems like in maya the z axis points left while in unity it points right, when looking along x which is pointing toward screen, in both)
I am trying to figure out if there is a simple conversion to get it to work but haven't figured it out yet. I've tried negating the values of x y and z in several different combos with no correct result. Can anyone help? Much appreciated.
