Ball Bearing Simulation With Rigidbody's?
I'm trying to simulate a ball bearing using rigidbody's, but when the game starts I have some collision problems that cause the balls to pop out of the bearing. I'm using a 3d model that has been separated into a number of balls alongside the inner and outer rings with grooves in them to help hold the balls in place. Should I try to adjust the colliders to not be so rough on the bearing or should I think about using some sort of script that will simulate the movement of a bearing without using rigidbody's?
