Importing the character controller package crashes mono.exe and leaves me unable to enter playmode
It also leaves me with two errors, both the same: "Internal compiler error. See the console log for more information. output was:" I'm brand new to Unity. I suspect this is not supposed to happen.
Steps leading to my problem: 1: Import character controller package 1b: Click import with all of the thingies in the package selected.
Edit: When I delete the imported assets, the errors go away.
My best guess is that either the assets are not compatible with Unity or they're corrupted. Try contacting the person or site where you got it from and check on that.
This happens to me too when I import character controller in assets. This is my first time using Unity and the 2nd step in the 1st tutorial causes an unavoidable crash...Great.
