Hi Guys Okay so I have my unity 3.5.7 game ready and would like to publish on Windows store and Windows phone store. I could use some headstart if someone has done this already. Thanks

It's not possible. Windows phone store at least would require a separate (not yet released) license, similar to iOS and Android.

I didn't mean using Unity. I'm thinking of how I can replicated what Unity does to package up a Unity game and create a releasable package which could be published to Windows and Windows Phone Store.

You can't, at least not with Windows Phone store. It's a separate platform, and would require you to rewrite your game from scratch, or wait for the Unity Windows Phone publishing license.

After briefly looking at this, I'd say putting a Unity app on the Windows store is not possible either.

I was just thinking that a windows store app would just be an exe that has some wrapper on top of it. Didn't realize they were so different as to need writing from scratch. Do you know something that makes you tell that? Can you point me to the source? Not that I'm doubting you. I just want to know and learn.

For the Windows store, see the link I posted above. Windows Phone is a different thing entirely and isn't even slightly compatible with Windows exe files; to start with Windows phones use AR$$anonymous$$ CPUs ins$$anonymous$$d of x86.

hehe yeah. someday it will. i'm currently subscribed to their beta feeds and there are definitely quite some bugs. i dont know how fast unity is addressing them though. maybe they are.
