How To Import Fonts?
Hi, what is happening is that whenever I try to import a font into Unity, it sends an error saying: "The font Assets/(fontname).ttf could not be imported because it couldn't be read". It says this even if the font isn't a ttf, how can I get around this problem?
try other fonts with similar ttf format. if you can import them, that means the other font that you having problem importing is damaged. you can try convert them into other format.
This happens with all the fonts, is not a particular case.
run unity in ad$$anonymous$$ mode and try to import the font
try to reinstall unity with latest version this may solve your problem.

Chrizie
It was a downloaded font.
Is an old question, but the fix was to reinstall Unity and it worked.
