Rendering at 2048x1536 on the new Retina iPad? Most Stable version of XCode for Unity 4 beta?
Hello, I wish to ask - which is the most stable XCode which will let me produce Apps that will render at retina iPad resolution? (Without any of those Splash screen bugs - since I am on indie)
I am using a Beta Version of Unity 4 along with XCode 4.2 and iOS SDK maxes out at iOS5. So, my game renders at 1024x768 on the new iPad and it looks blurry and jagged (yes I have enabled it to render at Native resolution).
I have read that the newer versions of XCode has problems and I dont wish to destroy my painfully configured iOS deployment/provisioning settings.
Or Can I just set the Application Render Resolution via script to render at 2048x1536?
Thanks.
FWIW i just use latest production unity and latest production xcode. no worries. full rez for P3
regarding that weird problem you mention (something to do with PNG import) the unity bloke posted a msg on here about it. (I've never seen the problem)
Weird. Selecting "Native resolution" should product the same results as running in an iPad 1 or 2. Doe it looks not-blurry running in older devices?
