Login to Steam from Android app

Hi

I want my game to run on both mobile and Steam, I need to know if the user has purchased the steam version of the game. If the user has, certain features are unlocked in the android app.

Is this achievable?

The other alternative is to have the user create an account on my site, then verify that they have the game on steam. Then from the app have them login to their game user account and verify. This is a really round about way and I want to make this as simple as possible.

Your feedback would be most appreciated.

Okay so I've been digging into the S$$anonymous$$m web API documentation. Looks Like I will need a S$$anonymous$$m publisher web API key, so this means I will have to have them hit my games web server. However I still need the users S$$anonymous$$m API key to verify.

Or would it be possible to have a user log directly in to s$$anonymous$$m using s$$anonymous$$ms OpenId from within a unity app?
