How do I import audio into unity and what type of audio type do I use?? PLEASE HELP!!

Supported formats are imported automatically when you paste them in the Assets folder. Create a folder in the Assets folder where you will keep your sounds.
MP3 is good for music. If you want to make engine sounds(or any stuff that loops fast), mp3 is not the right format, because when it loops there is a small pause, use .ogg or .wav because they are not compressed, so they will loop correctly.
