Heat Haze Particle System
Hi,
i want to achieve an heat haze effect. Currently i use the Stained BumpDistort shader for my particle system. Is there a way to fade out the particle smoothly? Maybe with a mask?

Try using a particle effect that uses a particle mesh attached to your player. A cylindrical object with a (customise it however you think is best) particle effect that would stick around the radius of the player at a certain distance. You could even parent it to a plane that encompasses your camera's field of vision and parent that to the camera.
