Augmented Reality in Unity Basic
I know it's been asked a million times, but I can't find any current posts about it anywhere. So I'll ask. Are there any free Augmented Reality scripts for Unity Basic? Any way to implement it? I might be able to write a script myself, but I need an approach. Any ideas?
"Augmented Reality" is pretty generic. Draw the camera feed first and then draw your stuff on top based on where the feed's co$$anonymous$$g from. You can use camera layering if you're working with 3D things.
If you have a more specific question you might get more luck.
Thank you, you're right. I need to be more specific. What I mean to say is that I want to be able to track patterns seen in webcam and have 3d models attach to said patterns. $$anonymous$$ost often this is seen with small cards with black and white patterns. That's what I'm looking for.
So an easier question is how to pick patterns out of webcam photos.
When you say unity basic, do you mean unity free licence? I would love to be able to do AR in unity, but everything i know requires unity pro because it has .dll
Same, but I saw something on another site where someone had made an augmented reality game in unity free. I will try to find the site again. Here it is:
