switching to legacy makes the animation preview tiny

Hello,

I've asked a similar question before but at the time I didn't realize that switching to legacy is what caused the animation preview to shrink so drastically.

I need to see the animation preview so I can time certain events. Is there any way I can make the animation preview larger? If not, is there any other way I can view the animation and record the exact time that certain keyframes take place?
