Rigged chain of rigid bodies connected by hinge joints won't collide with each other
I'm trying to make a long floppy object that is essentially a chain of jiggle bones, but I can't figure out how to make all the bones solid to each other. As it is, each bone can pass through one another.
I have one long block that I rigged in 3DS max to have 5 bones. These are all functionally jiggle bones as I added no animations to them.
I then gave each bone a rigid body and attached them all together with hinge joints.
None of the bones are colliding with each other. Is this because they are all children of each bone higher in the hierarchy? Is it some innate part of jiggle bones or joints that I don't understand?
Is there a way to make it so they collide again?
