DeleteAll not working on android?
Hello,
I am working on a game, but even though PlayerPrefs.DeleteAll() works perfectly on my laptop with Android remote. If I build the game to my device, it doesnt work at all! How can I fix this?
Edit: It works sometimes, but 90% of the time it doesnt...
Thanks in advance
Alexander
To get help with this you might want to post as much detail as you can. I would assume that if PlayerPrefs
did not work on Android the forums would be full of questions about it. So, my assumption would be that you have a problem with your code. $$anonymous$$aybe post that and see if anyone can spot any problems.
Thanks for the response Graham, but I finally managed to fix it. I used the previewlabs playerprefs plugin http://www.previewlabs.com/writing-playerprefs-fast/ and now everything works like a charm.
Still thinking it had something to do with Unity, because I didnt change anything else in my code other then changing all PlayerPrefs to PreviewLabs.PlayerPrefs, and adding import PreviewLabs.PlayerPrefs to my files...
EDIT: Oh I see i'm logged into another account, this is our companys account and not my free school version. But I am the topic opener ($$anonymous$$)
It looks like PlayerPrefs.DeleteAll() does not working on Samsung Galaxy s4, or my Droid X. I have not checked iOS yet. I had to use PlayerPrefs.Delete$$anonymous$$ey("some$$anonymous$$ey") specifically for each key to make a work around. I will try to submit a bug report. It was hard to track this down since it only fails on the mobile device.
