What is the DeviceType reported for an Ouya?
I'd like to cross develop my game for Ouya and standard Android devices. Does SystemInfo report the DeviceType for Ouya as Handheld or Console? (This directed at any lucky peeps that got one of the frosted dev kits.)
It's easy to detect an Ouya through code. if(SystemInfo.device$$anonymous$$odel == "OUYA OUYA Console") This will work with or without the OUYA plugin, so long as OUYA never change the "device$$anonymous$$odel" in one of their periodic updates, and in that case it would probably be incredibly easy to fix.

It reports "Handheld".
There's a lot of noise on this forum. In the future you could try forums.ouya.tv
Thanks mate. I probably will when it gets released. What else does it report under SystemInfo? I want to put placeholder pointers in for the controller so when it detects it, the player doesn't have to use touch.
I'm not really sure what SystemInfo has to do with the controller, but the way you are going to want to set that up is with the Unity plugin that comes with the OD$$anonymous$$. I'm asking the developer if the link can be posted so that you can work with the API.
