I'm closing your question because there are a couple issues with it.

  • Question is a 'write my code for me' or 'make part of my game for me' question. Unfortunately, we don't work for free, and there is a place to post requests for work in the forum. However, we are more than willing to help you learn how to create your own game! Please let me know if you would like a list of training sites.

  • Question is a duplicate question. The question or a similar question has previously been asked here on UnityAnswers, or is easily Google-able.

it is not asking for a code to be written (I NEVER SAID "CAN I HAV A CODE THAT..." DID I?) and all the other post ask about how to highlight an object NOT a outlined box around it so open it back up again pls next time read before closing someone's question or at least AS$$anonymous$$ them for more info on what they need :P

@christianmanners - I too would have closed your question. Any question that starts of with "i need a script" is a red flag to me. You can help your question along by including information that indicates you've done your homework. What have you tried? What question(s) have been similar to yours but don't completely solve the problem? What is the critical technical issue that you really need solved to make it work? Do you have the start of the source where you want to include the functionality? Things like that.

@christianmanners,

Please take some time to do research - the answer may not just jump out at you.

For instance, the 8th or so result from that search is this:

http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/39441/highlight-only-the-border-of-an-object.html

which includes a shader for outlining an object. Also, if you change the search slightly to "unity outline object", you might find, say, a dozen answers to your question.

That's the reason we're giving you so much snark. You gotta do your research, and if you make games, things are just going to take some time to learn.
