What is the correct way of including a text file asset to an Android build
I'm working on an application that parses information from a plain text file with Unity 4.2.1 and deploys to a Nexus 7 tablet. The application works on the desktop but fails when deployed with this error in logcat:
I/Unity (17583): IsolatedStorageException: Could not find a part of the path "/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.unity3d.player/files/Resources/points.txt".
The filename is found with
string filename = Application.persistentDataPath + "/Resources/points.txt";
And on my desktop 'points.txt' lives in
C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\LocalLow\DefaultCompany\[ProjectName]\Resources
My question is two fold. How do I get the file onto the tablets SD card so that it can be read from my development environment and is this the correct way to go about including read only assets with an apk?
