How to see object through collision?
Hi,how can i make that camera sees object through collision? Like in portal 2 game,where you can see portals through collision/walls. I want to see that object through collision a bit foggy not 100% clean,is it possible,please help? Thanks.
P.S. If any collision stands in camera way,then i can see it.
Collisions/Colliders are not visible. It is meshes, materials and textures that are visible. If your walls are planes, you can use a shader that supports transparency and author the transparent/translucent areas in the texture.
I'm pretty sure this is one of those things that can easily be done with the pro version, but are quite impossible in the free version.
Can you please not SHOUT your frustration.
The question in the current form is not clear to anyone. What are you trying to do? I love Portal but have no idea what you are talking about : how can i make that camera sees object through collision?
A collision is an event, not an object. If you are talking about seeing through the Portal, then this effect is only available with Unity Pro :
Hi if you are talking about same as portal 2 game, it's little bit tricky in Unity3D. you need to use multiple camera to do that. you need to put extra camera with depth setting where you generate portals like Portal2 Game. and that Camera render at another portals face so you can see through from portal
