Thread issue with Universal Windows Platform
Hello.
I'm having some issues with Thread with UWP, it seems like the Thread class exists, but has no attributes or methods. This code works fine in other platforms.
I get error messages like:
'Thread' does not contain a constructor that takes 1 arguments
'Thread' does not contain a definition for 'Start' and no extension method 'Start' accepting a first argument of type 'Thread' could be found
Here is where I'm getting the errors:
using System.Threading;
...
_currentThread = new Thread( () =>
{
_threadState = AThreadStateType.ACTIVE;
p_threadMethod();
_threadState = AThreadStateType.FINISHED;
});
_currentThread.Start();
