Download image and put it into the Resources folder

what I have in my game is a script that generates a world another script that sets the player speed from a web server and another script to upload and download the scores, all these scripts works perfectly fine.

but I would like the player to be able to download a image from a server web(apachie, PHP, MySql), place the image into the Resources folder with Read/Write enabled, Generate Mip Maps off and compression format RBGA 32bit this texture, I have on idea where to start both Server side and in game.

you select the web server where you get the high scores, game speed and 'Map image' for the world gen in a separate scene.

any help would be greatly appreciated :)
