Calculating collision behavior while using lerp
Hi,
I'm using lerp to move my player around because the movement has to be very precise in most cases and the movement with rigid body attached isn't precise enough. Anyways, when calculating collision, I have found it quite difficult to program. I want to know if somebody knows of a good way to calculate a 'bounce off' effect ( for lack of a better phrase ). The player object collides with another object and depending on the angle of travel and the angle of the other object in the collision, it does a small bounce ( lerps to a new location ).
Does anybody have any ideas?
Thanks in advance
