Low FPS in editor, but normal FPS in standalone
Hello unity peoples, I have a strange issue with unity. I've been making a 2d game, but for some reason today the FPS is oddly low, maybe 5, even though it lists 70 fps in the stats. The weirdest part is that when i build the game, the standalone runs completely fine. It's not a draw call or tri problem (200 tri's, 16 drawcalls, no lighting), is this a bug in the unity editor? I'd be happy to provide additional information, thanks.
try to add as much info as possible.. e.g when did this start happening
Yeah, did it start to happen suddenly? Do you get al lot of logs in your console? is the profiler running? If it is, is it deep profiling or not?
The editor has a lot going on, that a build does not. So it cold easily be one of those things. So more info might be welcome :)
I turned on the profiler and somehow how it fixed it. huh. thanks anyways
