Foot floating
Hi all,
In my 3dsmax's character animation, the foot is ground-stick, but after I export this animation to unity, the foot will left the ground a little sometime (that's why I say it's floating), I don't know why this happen. Help!

Whippets,
Thanks for your information. Finally I find what caused this, as I upgrade my max from 2008 to 2010, all these errors gone.

Is your character a child object of a collision cylinder? Is the collision cylinder touching the ground, and is the offset position of the character 0,0,0 (X,Y,Z)?
I found that because my characters are 'hip joint' located, I had to work out a little Y offset for each character type/height and set that with script whenever I spawn something.
I think it's due to my graphics program exporting with the ability to use high heels on characters, which would then place the toes on the ground. But with no high heels, the foot is slightly off the ground.
Hope there's some info in this that you find useful.
