Question by snowconesolid · Dec 28, 2012 at 06:30 AM · androidcameraresolutionunity remotescreen size

camera and screen is much farther out on android build?

I am having some issues with the screen size/ camera view in an actual build (for android).

Currently I have the resolution set to android wide 16:10 and the default orientation set to landscape left in the player settings for android. The game shows perfect when I am using the android remote with my device, everything is at the right camera angle and fits my device screen perfect.

However, when I build and install it on my device everything gets messed up. All the 3d text and guiText becomes small, and guiTextures (that i have for buttons) move out of place. Also other 3d game objects become small, like this cube I have that is in the perfect position that is also a clickable/Touchable game object becomes so small that it cannot even respond to my touch. I have been looking around for hours but cannot come up with a solution.

I just want the game to fit my device screen exactly like it does when I test it in the game editor through the remote because thats the perfect size. Is there a way to do this?

if it makes a difference I am using the standard android builder. farther

hey everyone. I have been trying some other things like Screen.SetResolution() but still no luck. Im not sure if I explained my problem good enough. So I took some pictures. maybe someone else has had this problem.

I want my game too like like the picture on the left on my phone. It displays like that when using the android remote but not in final build. when I build and install on my phone it looks like the one one the right and everything is messed up.
