Script in Scripts folder can't find namespace of file in Plugin folder
I have this annoying problem where a script in my scripts folder can't find a file which is located in my Plugin folder. This should work since Plugins folder gets compiled before the scripts folder, or am I mistaken? Error is : "The type or namespace name "SpriteText" could not be found(are you missing a using directive or an essembly reference?).
Both files are c#

from what I have read here it seems your logic is correct. But I have found that calling
using Path.To.Class.In.Prefab.Folder;
does what you need
can you plz help me
i have one script name ABC.cs in Asset folder that has namespace CDE{ }
other script is in plugin folder name XYZ.cs (asset/plugin/xyz.cs)
in xyz script i want to use namespace CDE ,but i can not access
with
using Unity.Engine; using CDE;
so how can i give path as you suggest " using Path.To.Class.In.Prefab.Folder;"
can you plz give answer with above example that i given in comment
It seems that scripts in plugin folder are processed before all others. That make them see only classes in plugin folder. It means you might want to relocate your scripts.
