Image appears clear on Iphone and strange on Android devices
Hello,
I am developing a mobile game. Developing on Windows desktop. I have imported the image as a png, texture type: GUI displaying from GUI window using GUI.DrawTexture. and I build and run directly on my htc device, and I see the picture noisy (see attached picture). Without any change, I got the project to a mac and build for IOS , the quality of the image was as the original png.. so what might be the reason, since I have other pictures displaying perfect on android as well, is it the image type ? GUI window? any other setting?
there is no difference between your Texture parameters on $$anonymous$$AC/Android ? Like the compression ? What shader used ?
@liszto I have copied the whole project to a mac and built there for ios, no change at all. Its the simple GUI.Drawtexture

Can you send a screenshot that shows the Android texture settings. Android devices have a large zoo of GPUs, so typically you send the textures to them as ETC1 and the driver will convert it into a format that is supported.
well I tried a jpeg ins$$anonymous$$d and it displayed like the Iphone did.. but how can the format be the reason? and i've been using png-s since a while and never got this problem..
