Why isn't the game build displaying like it does in the editor?
Hey, guys. The game displays fine in the unity editor. However, after I build my game it shows nothing much except for a blue screen with cliffs, my players shoes, and crappy text. See screenshot below:
Other info: I have version 4.3.1f1. I had to -force-d3d11 in unity properties to stop unity from crashing, in the past. It is a 3D game, by the way.
What does it look like in the game view window?
Would you be using free aspect for your Game view dimensions?
@fafase Yeah. I put in to standalone 1024 x 768. The game is for pc. But this didn't fix the issue.
@GrahamDunnett The game view show's terrain on the ground and on cliffs. There are tree's and so on. Text such as the word "health" to the bottom right of the screen is missing letters. What's wrong with this thing?
Are you sure you have the correct scene loaded in your build settings? $$anonymous$$aybe your are accidentally loading a somewhat empty scene. You need to manually add the new scenes you create in the File -> Build Settings "Scenes in Build" display.
@RyanZimmerman87 It is the right scene. I think it's a graphics problem. This scene in particular isn't displaying terrain and all (even on fastest quality setting) but the second scene works flawlessly on that setting - and if it's on "good", then it sucks similar to the picture shown above. I just don't know how to get the first scene to show all of the objects right. Any ideas?
