Is it possible to record using Microphone.start and have non-fixed Audio clip length?
Hi,
I am currently recording voice using AudioClip clip = Microphone.Start() call, where the length of the clip needs to be specified. The problem here is that even if i record 2 sec clip, the clip length remains as total length. I was wondering if its possible to record flexible length clips.
Thanks in advance.
I dont think this is possible. I was also trying for that but didnt find any solution.

perhaps you could create a 10 second length size
start a timer
then after you stop
modify the length of the clip (since you know the actual length you dont have to worry about cutting out sound)
so 10 seconds
they talk for 4 you track talk time
audiofile length is modified to 4.
not a bad hack :) .. will try that.
Edit: found length is read-only. any idea if trim$$anonymous$$g audioClip is even possible?
