how can i do camera projection / camera mapping? it just like in 3dsmax, but now in unity it's quite easy in 3dsmax, just put Camera Map into modify list on the mountain object, and link up with the Camera object, then finished.

what kind of scripts should i use in order to paste the texture on the object with correct position. thanks a lot.

here is an example of 3dsmax doing Camera Map: http://www.projectgemini.net/CameraMapGemini/

Hi there, could you find an answer? Im trying to do camera mapping on a project, from what I see, you need to get a UV map so that can be applyed to the 3D shapes which represents the 2d objects from the Image, or Im getting it wrong?. Also, how can you get such a UV map? By the way, I could found this links related to mapping on Unity: http://www.zhanstudio.com/blog/unity-camera-mapping http://www.develop-online.net/news/video-daedalic-s-camera-projection-demonstrated/0193042

Hi Timlo,

I'll take a crack at helping you. I read the tutorial and also the 3DS MAX documentation on camera mapping.

Have you tried using a spotlight with a cookie to project? You can separate each light per layer if you want to.
