Expand mesh uniformly?
I'd like to expand/contract a mesh (not scale the gameobject) using a GUI slider. Can this be done dynamically?

Yes. (See the 'Mesh' class and the 'procedural mesh generation' example projects for info on how to manipulate meshes at run time.)
