Wand Gesture Recognition
Hey all - So I've been working on my game quite extensively for a while setting it up for my final component- to be able to work with a magic wand. I would like to use a Harry Potter wand from Universal to work with the game and allow players to draw symbols in game and have them cast magic spells. I plan on connecting a kinect to my computer so it will be able to detect the reflection from the wand, but I am a little stuck on how to script that in Unity.
Worse comes to worse and that becomes to difficult, alternatively I'd like to use a MagiQuest wand which is a simple ir blaster, but again- not really sure how I can tell unity that signal is read. Any help is greatly appreciated- and thank you for taking a chance to read my question :)
