LDAP Authentication
Hello,
I am working on a project that requires user authentication, specifically through LDAP. I was wondering if anyone could get me started on how to do this in C#? I wasn't sure if the WWW class could be used to do this or not.
I found some examples on stackoverflow using System.DirectoryServices in .NET 4.5, but this namespace doesn't seem to exist in Unity's current Mono version?

Hello,
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
I am using webplayer compilation.

You have to add LDAP yourself as it doesn't come with Unity. I'm wrestling with a plugin right now (works on my desktop, not on my servers sigh)
Hello. I'm trying to check authentication of user in active directory domain and got stuck with system.DirectoryServices and LDAP itself. Do you have any luck with that?
Yes, it's working great. I have my server authenticate as Ad$$anonymous$$ user and then the players use LDAP authentication when logging in, but all the actual database work is done by the server with the ad$$anonymous$$ user authentication. Saves having to pass around a lot of information about each user.
I user the IntPtr interface as described in the Unity manual.
@judy3trun would you be willing to share your LDAP code?
