How to export baked lightmap for use with Unlit Texture?
Background: The Unlit texture shader works MUCH better than standard shader in my HoloLens application.
My first question is, when I bake lights - is there any significant performance difference between using standard shader and unlit/texture shader? Assuming there no real-time lights turned on in the scene after baking.
Second question is, is there a way to export the texture that was created during the light baking process and apply it to the unlit/texture shader? I saw the file generated by the baking process, but when I apply that texture to the unlit/texture shader, the mappings are all in the wrong place. I can post a few screenshots, if that might help clarify my question. Thank you in advance for your time and answers.
