How to make Hinge Joints without any "elastic" effect ?
Hello everyone, It's my first question on the unity answers forum and my english isn't perfect, please forgive me for that ^^
I have a ceiling light connected to a chain with Hinge Joints, there is not a lot of Hinge Joints, just one to connect my ceiling light with the chain, and 3 for the chain itself.
The physic reaction is pretty good, but more I increase the mass of my ceiling light, more joints will feel "elastic", like it was spring joints, but there is no spring at all.
I tried many settings in the inspector, but never achived what I wanted to do, nothing seems to work the way I want.
Have you got any ideas how to make joints more "solid" ? even by scripting ?
thank you for your time :)
Update : Seems like it randomly does this "elastic" effect on the chain, sometimes its nicely jointed, sometimes its elastic, it's always the same who are elastic or not when I launch a simulation (1/2, coincidence ?), no differences at all on my chain elements exept the Y position of the object (of course).
