Top down camera focus
I have looked this problem in couple sources now and still could not find a answer. I have a top down shooting game with camera at 55 degree in X axis. The problem is that the camera would follow the character mouse rotation with the character. Is there a way to lock the camera.
A camera does not move by itself. It will move because there is a script attached to it, or if it is a child of another object that moves. So you need to deter$$anonymous$$e what is moving it. Click on the camera and review any components attached. Without more information, no one can give you an accurate answer.
I'm guessing that you have a player with a movement and mouselook script attached to it and the camera is child of this gamobject. What you then could do is propably(depending on your character-setup) to make the player a child of the camera and attach the movement script to the camera (if the player movement is not dependent on the player's rotation it should work without much changing the code).
