AOT for final PC/Mac build
Hi,
we are building PC/Mac MMO game and we are looking for a best way to protect client code looks like best option for us will be a final binary executable with all code AOT compiled into it and apply one of the industrial tools to protect binaries and content (like Starforce MMOG)
problem is - I can't find a way to do AOT compilation for PC builds, looks like its available only for iOS and consoles
(I found couple of existing questions about this "issue", but all of them have no answers)
Thanks in advance, Denis

There is no AOT on PC/Mac builds. Regardless, the only way to actually protect code is to run it on the server, not the client.
$$anonymous$$ost of our code is already running on a server side, but we want more protection for a client code and 3rd party software (like direct3d and S$$anonymous$$m) to prevent all possible cheats (like aim bots, wall hacks, game distribution without s$$anonymous$$m, inspection of our protocol between client and server etc) thats why we chose Starforce $$anonymous$$$$anonymous$$OG as our primary client protection (I used it for my previous game and liked the how it works)
