subdividing in belnder wont carry into unity?
I have a model and I need to divide its bone (upper arm) into the shoulder and upper arm. once I divide it, I export it and then bring it into unity, when I look at the armature, only 1 of the bones show up (shoulder) and the other one doesn't appear but the rest of the arms are fine. I couldn't find any other posts that had a solution so I'm asking here. Thanks in advanced.

Make sure you are actually saving it correctly (close it and reopen in Blender). Try exporting to OBJ, and try dropping in the *.blend file, could be an issue with the format (unlikely). Another issue could be inheritance or mirroring. The bone might be resetting to match something else after you subdivide it. Go through the bones settings and make sure its no different to the others.
