Pick animation ingame
Ok, imagine in-game there is a character.
Now, I want to change the character to play an animation. I want this to be done in-game. Is it possible to have something like a drop-menu, where you can pick an animation, and it will play in-game? Or do I need to add a button which initiates one of the animations
Are you wanting a menu to play random animations, or to asign a different animation set to be played ? So like something in Saint's Row 2 where you can change your street fighting style ?
It would be a menu, with a rotating character. Then, there can be a dropdown menu or a few buttons that would make the rotating character play an animation.

Both are possible. Here is a script for the drop-down menu:
Thank you. However, doesn't this use the old OnGUI of Unity, not the new Unity UI found in Unity 4.6?
Can you link, or explain where I can learn how to make one, using the new Unity UI?
Thanks @unimechanic
