IMGUI Color Space problems on Mac and Xbox One.
Hello everyone,
We are having some issues with the IMGUI rendering on Mac and Xbox One: GUI Textures look way too bright (everything looks fine on PC and PS4).
All our textures are imported with the "Editor GUI and Legacy GUI" option, which as far as we understand bypasses the sRGB -> Linear conversion, which according to the docs is how it's meant to be set for IMGUI textures.
We tried this on both 2017.4.11 and 2018.2.8, with the same results. We use linear rendering, deferred path (DX11 on Windows, OpenGL on Mac).
We can make things work sort of correctly on MAC by changing the texture import options to Default, and ticking the sRGB box, but this breaks the PC rendering (it looks way too dark).
It's as if the IMGUI rendering is done in Gamma space on PC and in Linear space on Mac.
Does any one have any idea of how to fix this?
Thanks! Martiño.
